The acoustic enclosure, openings, seals and supporting structure can affect the output of the same driver.
What to review
Evaluate enclosure volume, grille porosity, acoustic leakage, gasket compression, fastener loading, resonances, vibration isolation and port design.
Good engineering practice
Use physical prototypes to validate tonal balance, speech clarity and unwanted rattles. Mechanical drawings should capture all acoustically critical interfaces.
What to include in a technical request
Send the intended application, relevant technical drawings, device envelope, electrical driver or amplifier configuration, environmental requirements, annual quantity estimate and the time frame for prototype evaluation. Include any standards applicable to the finished equipment so the engineering scope can be agreed.
Need an application-specific answer?
CX Acoustics can review your requirements and recommend the next evaluation steps. Technical documents are provided only when the corresponding references and revisions have been validated.
